We are a cycling club based out of Dynamic Rides Bike Shop & Espresso Bar in Hockley Heath, nr Solihull. The shop is our clubhouse giving members their own excellent base to start and finish weekend club rides. It's also used by members as a meeting place and coffee stop in the week for the social rides that have grown out of the club. The clubhouse also hosts occasional cycling related evenings such as bike maintenance and cycling nutrition seminars. The facility of the clubhouse gives the club a unique identity and facility for its members and a safe meeting place for starting our rides
We organise club rides for adults of all cycling abilities, UK based sportive outings, local social events, overseas training camps and can also offer cycle coaching for those wishing to improve their performance or try their hand at racing.
We run several club rides each Saturday ranging from 30 miles to over 100 miles in length which get progressively faster and longer as you progress from the Ds to As.
During the summer months we also organise a weekly ‘Bash’, which is essentially a fast paced, high intensity ‘chain gang’ type ride. We also organise the ‘DRCC Grand Day Out’ rides which are longer audaux type weekend rides between 75 and 180 miles in length, but at a gentle ‘all inclusive’ pace with plenty of cafe stops planned en-route for essential caffeine and cake supplies.
We compete in British Cycling (BC) road race events, plus time trials, triathlons and cyclocross races, along with the British Masters Cycle Racing (BMCR) events.
Additionally we provide off-road/gravel rides, a series of winter talks, Zwift sessions, and we fundriase for several charities.
Finally, we all enjoy our regular social get-togethers at local venues, culminating in the DRCC annual ‘Legends’ Awards Ceremony each winter.
